Welcome to the FastManager update manager .
Our latest revision is 18. Please remember to run this update routine on every computer that has FastManager installed on it. Every computer should run the same revision. 


TIP: If you close FastManager before you run the update you will not need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Revision Changes: 18 (June 30th)
This is a major update that includes database changes.
This is update has many new features that will blow you away.

Sales Groups.
You can now define your own sales groups.
Previously you were limited to the 8 sales groups that was built into FastManager. More...

Embellishment Price Lists.
You can assign a different sales group to the additional charges in any of your embellishment price lists. For example: You can create an additional sales group called 'Screen Print Setup' and assign it to the additional charge 'Screens'. In prior versions the additional charges shared the same sales group as the embellishment charge itself.
You can also now set if you would like the embellishment charges to amortize by default. The same applies for 'Printing on customer documents' and 'Hide'. You can apply these settings to the additional charges as well.

Scheduling Templates.
If you make use of manual scheduling then the new version will enable you to create templates so you don't have to add each additional task one at a time. More...

Taxes and Customer Journals
There is a new tax report which will all include journal transactions.
When processing journals you now have more options to apply taxes to the amount the journal amount that you want to process. More...

Profit and Payment Analysis.
There is also a profit and payment analysis report. This report will show you a list of jobs based on your filter criteria. You will see the value of the order as well as the gross profits. You can also see the payment status of a WIP or invoice and when it was paid. This is a great report to manage sales reps who discount orders.

We have added some additional options to the user access.
Preventing users to convert to invoice
Preventing users from overriding the retail price in the sales screen
Preventing users from accessing the profit and payment analysis report.

Payment Screen.
We have made some improvements to the customer payment screen. It is now even easier to process a payment and link it to mutiple invoices and or work orders.  More...
 

Revision Changes: 15 (May 13th)
This is a minor update. You can now change catalog item markups on the fly from directly in the sales screen. Click here for more information. Also try the new 'Scan' button if you have a barcode scanner. We recommend any USB laser based scanner. Avoid Infra Red scanners they are cheaper but not as accurate. Click here to buy a scanner.

Revision Changes: 13 (April 24th)
This is a minor update in preparation for real time vendor integration coming in future updates. We have also changed the 'Service Groups' screen so it is more intuitive and you have more flexibility to customize your pop-up menus in the sales screen. You can also edit the discount codes from the 'Edit' menu. Minor bug fixes also included.

Revision Changes: 12 (February 28th)
The auto scheduling module now schedules all services which includes your garment printer, heat press and even other services.
You need to update your additional charges in the following modules once you complete the update: Garment Printing, Heat Pressing, and Other Services. There is also a compatibility wizard under the Scheduling drop down menu which will check if there are any line items in previous order that will not work with the auto scheduling module. This will ensure that all future re-orders are scheduled. There is also a new column called 'CG' in the sales screen that stands for "Customer Goods" FastManager will automatically un-check the 'PO' box if you check the 'CG' box. It is one or the other... or neither. If you select 'CG' then FastManager will also reset all costs and retail prices to zero as this is customer supplied goods. This has 2 advantages. You can now check in customer goods from the Job Board (There is a new 'box' icon on the job board tool bar) which will tie in with the 'Goods Received' column on the Job Board.
